Morning Guy!
Johnny Brokaw is a radio revolutionary. Think about him as the Che Guevara of Radio, doing things a little differently than most. He grew up in a small town in Ohio, but always knew Colorado was where he belonged. After enduring 23 years in the mugginess of the Midwest, he moved to Boulder right after his college broadcasting major was finished. He lived there for the summer before moving to Breckenridge, in a large part due to fate as it would seem. After living in Breck for a year, to his delight the dream job of Radio DJ at KSMT The Mountain came available, and he never looked back. Over the last 7 years Johnny has been spewing randomness to the locals, engaging them to think more and enjoy life to the fullest. He loves doing what he does, and the listeners seem to have a closeness with him when they see him on the streets or at one of the millions of fun KSMT events- as he is also the Promotions Director for KSMT, heading up all the parties and sponsorships and ski events and concerts that are a vital part of Summit County life. He loves live music, backpacking and beer.

Meaghan Lawes
Weekends!
Meaghan Lawes is "The Weekend Girl" for KSMT. Despite having been a night owl for most of her life, she now rises at the crack of dawn on Saturdays and Sundays to bring the essential reports (snow, bicycle, weather, etc) and the great music that Summit County expects to hear. She really likes coffee. Formerly a restless wanderer, Meaghan has lived in three different countries and several different states. Having finally settled (at least for awhile) in Summit County, Meaghan is a huge fan of snowboarding, hiking and all the activities that the county has to offer - which does include 12 ounce curls on sunny decks.

DC (Jonathan Oetken) has been providing hip hop fans with music every Saturday night on KSMT since 2002. Born in Washington D.C. and raised in neighboring Prince Georges County, MD, DC moved to Breckenridge in October of 1998 to follow his love of snowboarding. Coming from the Hip Hop saturated city of Washington, D.C., the music was always a big part of his life. From being a mixtape dj throughout high school ( under the name of DJ Ryde) to Djing at college bars before he was even old enough to drink at them, DC soon realized that he could turn his hobby into a career. Now with regular nights at local Breckenridge establishments and providing the sounds for major Snowboard and Ski Competition circuits, to holding down local house parties, DC is loving what Hip Hop has afforded for him, and continues to pay tribute to the art form every Saturday night. So tune in this Saturday night from 9-11 and enjoy the best of Hip Hop music, from all regions of the nation, old school, new school, underground, mainstream, you name it – DC’s Hip Hop Show on KSMT!

My name is Mike Gibson, but some of you may know me as Gibby! Before I started working for KSMT the Mountain, I was always attending events that KSMT was putting on. Well now I work for these guys and it has been such an experience to say the least! I'm always learning and growing and living in Summit County rocks just as much as KSMT does.
So if you haven't tuned in yet, you don't know what you're missing! Being a lover of music, I hail from Michigan originally. I have been living in the county for nearly 4 years and love it! There is truly no other place I would rather be. So with that said, be good and keep listening! Thanks to everyone for making this possible.
